Crystal Kohanke, MS, SHRM-CP is the Senior Vice President and Chief People Officer at Arkansas Children’s Health System. With over 20 years of executive HR leadership, she has served in key roles at CHRISTUS Health and Harland Clarke Holdings. Her experience spans healthcare, education, marketing, and financial services across domestic and international settings.Crystal is known for her strategic leadership, relationship-building, and ability to drive results. She has been recognized as an HR Superstar by HRO Today, a CHRO/CPO to Know by Becker’s Hospital Review, and received the Women’s Leadership Award from the San Antonio Business Journal.She holds a BBA in Accounting from St. Mary’s University and an MS in Human Resource Management Systems from Chapman University, along with certifications in HR and Leadership Coaching.Crystal is married to Bradley Kohanke and has two sons—Shawn, who serves in the U.S. Air Force, and Ian, a recent graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University.
