Andrea LaBarbera is the Head of Global Talent and Engagement for Zimmer Biomet, a global medical technology leader with a comprehensive portfolio designed to maximize mobility and improve health. She has responsibility for global Talent Acquisition, Talent Management and Mobility, Talent Development, Engagement, Recognition and Talent Data Analytics supporting over 18,000 team members world-wide. Prior to her current role, Andrea served as Director of Employee Experience, Engagement & Culture, Chief of Staff to the CHRO, and Director of Leadership and Organizational Development.Prior to her journey in HR, Andrea spent 19 years serving as a finance leader and business partner at Abbott Laboratories, Hospira (acquired by Pfizer) and Zimmer Biomet. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Business from Carthage College and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and SHRM-SCP.Andrea is Treasurer and Board Member of Breath of Life Haiti, a non-profit organization dedicated to fighting maternal and infant mortality in Desarmes, Haiti and serves on the Project Review Board for the Kosciusko Economic Development Corporation and the LaunchPad, a child care and early learning coalition in Indiana.Andrea, her amazing husband, and five children live in northern Indiana where they own and operate a small, diversified farm.
