Christopher Cardarelli (he/him/his) is an Executive Director, Human Resources within the Global Diversity & Inclusion Center of Expertise at Merck. In this role, he provides strategic consultation support to enterprise leaders and colleagues globally as a thought partner and catalyst to improve business outcomes and enable a more inclusive culture. He works to influence the alignment and integration of diverse perspectives and cultural competencies into the design and execution of strategic human resource practices, policies and systems. In his 25 year career with Merck, Christopher has observed that the greatest opportunity for growth and development begins with a culture and mindset of inclusion, curiosity, empathy and gratitude. He leads with a demonstrated commitment to understand, respect and value the lived experiences and perspective of others – not only to strengthen a more diverse, equitable and inclusive culture for Merck but also for humanity at large. He is the grateful husband to Dale Sharon Cardarelli and proud father to Michael, Jacob and Olivia!
