Workhuman Forum London 2026

Dive into the highlights of our 2026 event.

Workhuman Forum returned to London for its fourth year in the city, bringing HR leaders together for a day dedicated to learning how to lead like a human.

From the opening beats of creative percussionist Lenstrumental to Susan David's closing words on courage, the energy in the room never let up.

Here are the highlights.

Leading with Trust in Uncertain Times

TED speaker, author, and trust expert Rachel Botsman opened the day with a question most leaders don't ask enough: what actually happens when trust breaks down?

Through sharp insight and a memorable audience exercise, including handing their phone to a stranger, Rachel made the stakes viscerally clear. Trust isn't a strategy or a digital tool. It's one of the most precious and fragile currencies we have. And in a world defined by uncertainty, it's the foundation everything else is built on.

The takeaway for leaders? Build trust before you attempt transformation. The best leaders don't tighten control, they give people the freedom to grow.

The High Cost of Untapped Potential

Next up was Workhuman CEO and co-founder Eric Mosley, who reframed the conversation around AI and competitive advantage.

As AI becomes increasingly commoditised, Eric argued that once you remove it from both sides of the equation, what remains is simple: your humans against their humans. In a world where many AI projects fail to deliver meaningful returns, the real differentiator has never changed: the quality, visibility, and development of your people.

Eric also unveiled a major new innovation built on Workhuman’s recognition data foundation: Workhuman Future Leaders. This patent-pending AI model is designed to identify future VP+ talent years before organisations might otherwise make those decisions.

The talent is already in your data. Future Leaders helps you see it.

Triple Take: Three Leaders, Three Perspectives, Twenty Minutes Each

This year we introduced Triple Take: a new quick-fire format bringing three leaders to the stage for sharp, focused perspectives on trust, connection, and transformation.

Across sessions from Christine Armstrong, Dr. Meisha-ann Martin, and Hollie Castro, one theme came through clearly: in a world shaped by uncertainty, AI, and shifting employee expectations, trust is no longer a soft skill. It is a business-critical advantage.

We heard how workplace and societal pressures can make people feel unseen, undervalued, and disconnected, and how that quiet erosion of trust can make work feel less human. We explored the vital role managers play in rebuilding trust day to day, especially as they sit between senior leaders and individual contributors during moments of major change. And we looked ahead to the leadership demands of an AI-driven future, where organisations must create space for experimentation, learning, honest conversations, and even failure.

The message for HR was clear: this is a moment to lead from the front. By protecting managers, recognising great work, and building stronger bridges across the organisation, HR can help create the trust people need to navigate transformation — and thrive through it.

Unlocking Employee Potential: The Future of Recognition-Driven Performance

We were delighted to welcome three Workhuman customers to the stage, each at a different stage in their recognition journey.

The discussion explored the value of bringing recognition into the true flow of work, the speed at which new programmes can gain momentum, and the role recognition plays in intentional culture-building.

There was also a strong focus on high-quality data. The insights it can create, the decisions it can influence today, and the strategy it can help shape tomorrow. Across each story, one theme came through clearly: recognition is not just a moment of appreciation. It is a powerful way to understand, develop, and unlock employee potential.

The Real Revolution Isn't Artificial — It's Human

The final keynote came from Susan David, who took the audience on a rich and thought-provoking journey into what it means to hold onto our humanity in a digital and AI-first age.

In uncertain times, our brains are wired to read ambiguity as threat. That makes transformation challenging for individuals, teams, and organisations alike. Susan offered emotional agility as one way forward, a concept she has studied for more than 20 years.

At its heart, emotional agility is about understanding emotions as data and using them to create a more flexible mindset in times of change. It is also about compassion: making space for people to grow, change, and sometimes fail without censure.

Rather than racing towards the light, Susan encouraged us to find power in discomfort. The real work is learning to see in the dark — and helping our people move through it with courage.

Her final word stayed with the room: “Courage is not the absence of fear. Courage is fear walking.”
