Senior Director, Career Growth & Development, ADP, LLC
Why is Doreen speaking at WorkHuman?
Doreen is responsible for ADP’s enterprise wide career growth & development strategy. At WorkHuman, she’ll share the story of ADP’s evolution into a strengths-based organization and give you the fuel you need to turbo-charge your own workforce.
Doreen is a 2nd generation ADPer – coming into the organization in 2005 as her mom was retiring from a 33 year career. Spending her first 10 years in front line leadership in the business, and recognizing the need for a sharper focus on career development, Doreen was instrumental in creating her own role – starting it from the ground up in June of 2015. Now in that dream job, she is responsible for the creation and execution of the career growth and development strategy for ADP enterprise-wide (58,000 associates), managing up to 100 volunteer associates and multiple projects at any given time. This year, Doreen has been part of the team leading the charge on ADP’s evolution into a strengths-based organization where each associate is recognized for their unique potential and able to leverage their strengths in their current roles and beyond.
To provide thought leadership around career growth and development externally, Doreen helped create the Career Development Practitioners’ Council at The Conference Board, and is now an Executive Committee Member. She was recently invited to speak at The Conference Board’s Career Development Seminar in NYC.
Doreen is the President of her local office’s chapter of the International Women’s Inclusion Network, focusing on development opportunities for associates and the surrounding community; and was recognized as one of ADP’s Women of Distinction in 2016.
Prior to ADP, Doreen worked for DialAmerica Marketing, Inc. in Tempe AZ, San Diego CA and El Paso TX. Beginning as a telemarketer to help pay her way through college, she moved into leadership and progressed to become a Center Director of an office she started from scratch and ultimately built to 400 employees.
She is PHR certified, StandOut (Team Leader and Team Member) certified, on the Board of Directors for her local YMCA, a wife of almost 25 years and mom to 4 amazing kids. And all around, truly blessed.
Changes in how people view work and how companies view talent are causing us all to wake up in a cold sweat…how can we attract, retain and engage the best and the brightest? ADP’s answer – an unbridled (unwavering) commitment to career development through a strengths-based approach. Come join us as we take you through […]
