Does Workhuman have a Health & Safety policy?

Workhuman® continues to closely monitor the status of the COVID-19 pandemic. The safety of our attendees, employees, speakers, and partners remains our highest priority. Please refer to our COVID-19 page for updated information.

Is proof of vaccination required for entry into Workhuman® Live?

Workhuman committed to hosting a safe and enjoyable conference and will comply with all safety protocols consistent with the Irish Government. We will continue to work closely with the Convention Centre Dublin (CCD) to make certain your health, safety, and comfort are first and foremost.

Since 6 March 2022, all COVID-19 restrictions are removed for travelling to Ireland. You no longer need to complete a passenger locator form. You also no longer need proof of vaccination or recovery, or a COVID-19 test.

As the COVID-19 pandemic remains fluid, safety guidelines and protocols will be expected to change based on the prevailing health situation. We appreciate your cooperation and collaboration as we navigate the return to in-person events.

How is the Convention Centre Dublin managing Health & Safety?

Our conference venue, the Convention Centre Dublin, will support the national and international efforts against this virus and will follow the advice of the HSE (Health Service Executive in Ireland) and NPHET (National Public Health Emergency Team) in relation to hosting events.

About Workhuman Live

When does Workhuman Live Europe 2022 take place, and where is it located?

It takes place 26-28 Sept. All keynotes and breakouts will take place at the Convention Centre Dublin.

What is Workhuman Live?

Workhuman Live is the outlier of HR conferences and the kind of positive environment where transformative ideas can have far-reaching influence. It’s a place where like-minded people come to connect, have conversations, contribute ideas, and leave inspired to bring more humanity to their workplaces – and the world.

We go beyond HR and delve into the data behind gratitude, implementing human rights in the workplace and other provocative issues around the future of work. It’s about usable, sharable, actionable content – and a village of experts, thought leaders, researchers, professors, executives, activists, authors, up-and-comers and changemakers who’ll use their knowledge to propel us to where we want to go.

Can I attend Workhuman Live virtually?

After two years (and way too many Zoom meetings), we’re ready to bring the humanity back – 100% in person.

How long has Workhuman Live been around?

Workhuman Live is in its 7th year. The inaugural conference took place in 2015 with an intimate group of 400. The conference has since grown into a global gathering of HR and business leaders, with more than 3,300 attendees in 2019. After a hiatus due to the pandemic in 2020 and 2021 where we went all digital, we are back in person and look forward to gathering with you at the 2022 conference.

Who attends Workhuman Live?

HR and business leaders – CXOs, CHROs, people managers, culture curators and other professionals who recognise the value of bringing more humanity to today’s modern workplace.

When will the 2022 Workhuman Live conference app be available?

We anticipate releasing our conference app approximately four weeks from the conference dates, by the end of August 2022. Registered attendees will receive an email with details when it becomes available.

Can I bring a guest to any of the social events?

Unfortunately, no. Only registered conference attendees may attend the social events.

What is the suggested attire?

Business casual has taken on a whole new meaning in the past two years (hello, jogging bottoms). When you’re packing your bag for Workhuman Live, wear what makes you comfortable, but maybe keep your favourite pair of tracksuit bottoms at the hotel!

When you’re packing shoes, consider function over fashion because there’s so much to do and see at Workhuman Live. Dublin will be in the 15s (°C) / 60s (°F) , but convention centers can get cold, so bring layers so you can adjust to the varying temperatures!

Registration Information

What’s included with my registration?

Your registration includes access to all keynotes and breakout sessions, lunch, unique experiences in Workhuman Central and evening social events.

Your travel to and from Dublin, hotel accommodations, breakfast and dinner (outside of specially noted events) are not included with your registration.

Do you offer discounted rates for students, government employees and nonprofits?

Discounted rates for specialty audiences are not available currently. Workhuman may periodically promote special offers to all audiences. Please subscribe to our Insiders community at the bottom of this page to be alerted if/when promotions become available.

Where can I find my receipt?

A receipt is included with your confirmation email. If you cannot locate your confirmation email, please contact us at registration@workhumanlive.com for a copy of your receipt.

Is there an age requirement for attending?

All attendees must be age 18 or older. Children are not permitted within any Workhuman Live conference space, venues or events.

Can I cancel my pass if I can’t attend anymore?

Yes. We are looking forward to gathering with you in Dublin and remain confident that we will be able to do it safely. However, we understand that the situation with COVID-19 requires us to be flexible.

If required, cancellations may be made for a refund in accordance with the following schedule: unprecedented circumstances, we have temporarily revised our policy to support our attendees. Workhuman is providing a no-risk cancellation policy. We will offer a 100% refund on your registration fees at any time between now and the event date.

  • Notice in writing by June 28, 2022: 90% refund
  • Notice in writing from June 29, 2022 – July 29, 2022: 50% refund
  • Notice after July 30, 2022: no refund

This policy will apply to your registration fees for the Event only and does not apply to any other reservations made related to this event such as hotel accommodations, transportation, meeting room requests and/or team meetings.

Can I transfer my registration if I can no longer attend?

A registration may be transferred to another person any time by using the “Manage Registration” link in your confirmation email. Registrations are tied to unique email addresses and must contain an accurate first and last name for the new attendee. IDs will be required to pick up a badge on-site.

When does registration close?

All tickets will become unavailable at 17:00 IST, 26 September 2022.

Travel & Hotels

Is the hotel included with my registration?

No. All travel and hotel related expenses are the responsibility of each attendee.

When can I book a hotel?

Hotels are available to book! Once you register, you’ll receive a link to book your room within the official conference hotel block. You can also view and book at one of our hotels by visiting our travel & hotel page here.

Are there shuttles to the Convention Centre Dublin from the airport?

We do not offer prearranged shuttle service from the airport to the Convention Centre Dublin or hotels. There are several options for travelers, available at all price points.

Are there shuttles to the Convention Centre Dublin from the hotels?

The official Workhuman Live conference hotels are all within walking distance of the Convention Centre Dublin. Shuttle service is not currently planned.

Cancellation Policy

Can I transfer an order to someone else in lieu of cancelling?

A registration may be transferred to another person any time by using the “Manage Registration” link in your confirmation email. Registrations are tied to unique email addresses and must contain an accurate first and last name for the new attendee. IDs will be required to pick up a badge on-site.

How do I cancel my registration?

You can cancel your registration using the form on the cancellation policy page or email registration@workhumanlive.com (be sure to have your ticket ID handy – it can be found in your confirmation email). The Workhuman Live team will process all cancellations in accordance with our registration terms, within 72 hours of receipt of your notice and respond with a final confirmation.

If I just sent in my registration, will it be processed, and will my card be charged?

Registrations are processed automatically at the time of submission. Workhuman will require you to complete a cancellation request, which will be processed in accordance with the policy.

When will I get a refund?

Refunds for payments made by credit card will be processed immediately; however, it may take up to 30 days for the credited amount to be reflected in your account statement by your bank provider. Refunds for other payment types will be issued by the Workhuman Accounts Receivable department as soon as invoices are finalised.

Will cancelling my Workhuman Live registration also cancel my hotel reservations?

No. When you complete your request to cancel your registration, it will not impact your hotel reservations. Hotel reservations are governed under the terms and conditions of each hotel at the time of your booking; therefore, you will need to contact the hotel or use the appropriate hotel-specific cancellation procedures from your hotel reservation confirmation emails to cancel.

What if I cancel my registration and then change my mind?

Unfortunately, you cannot reinstate your original registration after you cancel it. You would need to start a new registration at the current published attendee rate for that time and provide new payment.

What happens if Workhuman cancels the event?

Workhuman reserves the right to cancel, alter or reschedule the conference for any reason, including because Workhuman determines in its sole discretion that the conference cannot be held as planned. Workhuman also reserves the right to close registration when tickets are sold out or if local mandates impose restrictions.

Should Workhuman cancel the conference for any reason, your conference fees will be refunded.

Should the conference be rescheduled, all registrants will be offered the opportunity to transfer registration to the new date or opt for a full refund.

Is there a virtual option in the event I cancel my registration?

No. Workhuman Live is a face-to-face, in-person event only.

What else can I do to protect myself when making airline and hotel reservations?

Registrants are advised against making nonrefundable travel arrangements. Should you purchase nonrefundable airline tickets or make nonrefundable hotel reservations, you do so at your own risk.

Are there sponsorship opportunities at the event?

Sponsorships are not currently a part of Workhuman Live. Should they become available in the future, we will announce this through the website. Check back for more details.

Accessibility

I am attending or looking to attend Workhuman Live 2022. What services are available for individuals with special needs and requests?

Our conference venue, the Convention Centre Dublin, is committed to making The CCD as physically and emotionally welcoming as possible for all. Detailed information can be found here.

What is Workhuman Live’s overall policy on accessibility?

Workhuman Live welcomes the participation of individuals with disabilities and will make every effort to provide reasonable accommodations to enable equitable participation at Workhuman Live.

How much notice is needed to make specific accessibility arrangements?

Please submit your request no later than August 29, 2022. Requests are honored to the maximum extent possible.

How can I request accessibility accommodations and/or services at Workhuman Live?

You can request accessibility accommodations by writing to registration@workhumanlive.com, indicating that you have accessibility requirements and adding some detail about what you require. A representative will then call to discuss your needs to make sure your experience on-site is enjoyable.

Is there a mother’s room available at the convention centre?

Yes, there is a mother’s room available on-site with a refrigerator. Long-term/overnight storage and shipping for nursing mothers is not provided. It is recommended to check with your hotel for storage services in advance; policies may vary.

Whom do I contact to request an auxiliary aid or sign language interpreter?

You can request an auxiliary aid or sign language interpreter by writing to registration@workhumanlive.com. A representative will then call to discuss your needs to make sure your experience on-site is enjoyable.
