Health and safety

Updated January 9th, 2023

The safety of our attendees, employees, speakers, sponsors, and partners of Workhuman® Live remains our highest priority. We are committed to following the health and safety measures in accordance with in-person event guidance provided by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the California Department of Public Health, and the San Diego City and County governments.

We will continue to work closely with the San Diego Convention Center, our hotel partners, transportation vendors, and off-site venues to ensure the safety of all our attendees during the event.

Health policy

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. Prior to attending a public gathering or event, please learn more about the risks involved and evaluate your individual risk level.

We will share additional details of our health and safety protocols as we get closer to the event date. We will continue to monitor public health guidance and provide additional updates as necessary.

  • Vaccinations: While not mandatory, we strongly encourage attendees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to attending the event.
  • Masks: Our mask requirements will follow local mandates in the conference’s location and CDC guidelines at the time of the event. As of January 1, 2023, masks are encouraged but not required for those not vaccinated.
  • PPE availability: Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the conference areas for all attendees. Masks will be available upon request.
  • Cancellation policy: If you need to cancel your registration, you may request a refund in accordance with our refund schedule. Our cancellation policy can be found in our Registration Terms.

Safety policy

  • The safety and security of conference attendees is of the highest importance to us. We are working closely with the convention center and their local public safety partners to ensure safety throughout the duration of Workhuman Live.
  • In the event of an emergency, information may be relayed over the audio system and/or through mobile notifications in the event app.
  • If you or someone you know requires medical assistance during the event, please notify a staff member or come to our first aid station.
  • As always, if you see something, say something. Flag down any staff member if you notice something that doesn’t seem quite right.
